About Jim

For more than twenty-five years, Jim Reichert has led businesses in distribution and manufacturing to new levels of success. In 2018, he founded Rapid Delivery Solutions, Inc. (RSDI) to meet the growing demand for same-day and next-day package delivery. Jim provides the strategic vision and leadership for RDSI to excel as a premier logistics provider and achieve exceptional results consistently.

Known for running top-performing operations, Jim’s strong business acumen and hands-on approach attract top talent—and his commitment to developing people and building a dynamic team culture retains that talent. RSDI embraces diversity, fosters collaboration, and inspires excellence.

Jim leads a dedicated staff of employees who place a high value on integrity and have the expertise necessary to build a leading operation. He is involved in all aspects of the business—working closely with the team each day to anticipate change, mitigate risks, and improve operations while developing leadership in each team member.  

Since its inception, Jim has grown RDSI from a handful of core people to a fully staffed organization with a dedicated fleet and a growing team of professional drivers. Shawn Zientek

Director of Operations

About Shawn

Shawn Zientek serves as Director of Operations for Rapid Delivery Solutions. He joined the company in 2018 and played an integral role when RDSI first opened its doors.  With more than twenty years of managerial experience, he partnered early on with the company’s founder and was instrumental in building the culture and shaping the team.

Shawn oversees multiple disciplines within RDSI. He leads the driving team, directs dispatch, and oversees the fleet. He also controls scheduling and manages performance to ensure drivers follow strict safety protocols and achieve their incentives.

Having played and coached team sports, Shawn sets a high bar for his crew and leads with humility and integrity to create an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion. He has no room for double standards and often works behind the scenes to guide others to excel under pressure and deliver outstanding results.

Having worked in every facet of the business, Shawn uses his adept analytical and problem-solving skills to increase operational efficiencies and develop strategies for future growth.

Laura Grossich

HR Manager

About Laura

As Human Resources Manager for Rapid Delivery Solutions, Laura oversees full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts for RDSI and ensures critical training for new employees. Laura is passionate about improving processes and developing strategies that move the business forward—while fostering an environment where employees know they are seen and valued. In addition to managing daily staffing requirements, Laura also leads and contributes to events and programs that reinforce RDSI’s core values, build the company’s culture, and increase employee engagement.

Laura joined Rapid Delivery Solutions in 2019 and is a key member of the leadership team. She brings more than fifteen years of progressive HR experience to her role, with a focus on employee relations and talent management. She holds an MS in Human Resources from Roosevelt University and provides ongoing guidance and support for RDSI’s professional driving team. Laura’s solutions-driven mindset, commitment to excellence, and relentless positivity make Rapid Delivery Solutions a better workplace for all.  

Karis Reichert

About Karis

Karis Reichert is Rapid Delivery Solution’s Manager of Strategic Initiatives. She works closely with the leadership team to shape strategies and execute action plans that address tough challenges, increase team engagement, and improve performance. Karis defines and oversees projects focused on developing training, enabling operations, and improving marketing, staffing, and engagement.

As an experienced program director and project manager, Karis has a strong track record of expanding businesses while leading and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results. She builds cultures of learning and collaboration across the organization, uniting people with different areas of expertise to accomplish more together. Karis develops innovative strategies and enjoys the challenge of seeing a problem through to completion—while empowering and developing people to achieve new levels of success. Her leadership strengthens RDSI’s driving team and promotes cross-functional growth to build RDSI’s winning culture.

Safety Program

Safety is Rapid Delivery Solution’s top priority.  We have built our operations around this value not only for our own employees but also for our customers and surrounding community. RDSI developed a Driver Safety Program to provide our team of professional drivers with the know-how they need to maintain the highest level of safety—while out on the road and while delivering packages.

RDSI’s Safety Manager Dave Krajenta delivers ongoing training and guidance to develop each driver and provide feedback for best practices so they can exceed their safety metrics and earn their Safety Performance Incentives. Our commitment to keeping Safety first is one of the key reasons Rapid Delivery Solutions is consistently ranked as the Elgin Station’s top-performing Delivery Service Partner.

Our Fleet

Rapid Delivery Solutions maintains a dedicated fleet to support operations throughout the northern suburbs of Chicago. Chris Machala is RDSI’s Fleet Manager and works diligently to keep our cargo vans and step vans running smoothly. Having a strong fleet is an important part of running a smooth operation and supporting our drivers. It is also an important way to illustrate two of our core values—Excellence and Respect. We respect other people and things and rely on a strong fleet so we can work hard and finish well!
