Do I need a CDL for this job?

No, you do not need a CDL to be a Delivery Driver for Rapid Delivery Solutions. Our fleet is comprised mostly of Amazon Prime cargo vans. Cargo vans only require a standard drivers license. Driving one of our larger step vans does require a Class C commercial drivers license. We offer training on-site for the Class C endorsement to assist drivers who want to obtain a Class C drivers license.

Can I still earn my Safety Bonus if the team does not?

Yes, bonuses at Rapid Delivery Solutions are calculated and issued on individual performance. Your bonus is not contingent on the performance of other drivers or on team metric scores.

When am I eligible for Health Benefits?

Full-time Delivery Drivers are eligible for health benefits after working 30 days. Drivers at Rapid Delivery Solutions can elect medical, dental, and vision coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois for individual or family health care plans.

Do Drivers get paid time off (PTO)?

Yes, Drivers start accruing paid time off (PTO) immediately. On average, our full time drivers accrue 2 weeks of PTO after 1 year of service. The more hours you work, the more PTO you accrue! Some drivers use their accrued PTO to take time off of work. Drivers also have the option to cash out their accrued PTO for additional funds if they prefer.

Do you offer full-time and part-time positions for flexibility?

Yes, we offer full-time and part-time delivery driver positions. Full time is scheduled 4 days per week, working a 10-hour shift each day. Part-time is scheduled every weekend, working a 10-hour shift both Saturday and Sunday. Drivers can work three days per week by driving a 10-hour shift on Saturday, Sunday, and one additional day during the workweek, depending on staffing needs.

Management is absolutely fantastic. Every member of the team is great and a team player. They care about your safety and health.

I've worked for RDSI for a little over a year and a half and I have really enjoyed my experience here. Coworkers and management are great and very inclusive. Management provides snacks for workers daily and you can tell that they care about the employees.

Bosses are great and very understanding and will work with you the best they can if anything comes up. You stay busy throughout your shift. Working 4 days (10-hour shifts) is a big plus. Everyone cares about your safety on the road and at the warehouse. You do work outdoors so the weather is always something to plan for. Everyone is kind and respectful so this is a great place to work.

Have worked for RDSI for 2 years now and have not had a bad experience yet. Flexible hours and always willing to work on a schedule that works for you. Enjoy that it is four 10 hours shift so you get 3 days off a week. Full-time has benefits that include PTO health insurance and 401k plans.
